2016 Open Space and Recreation Plan

The Planning Board is hereby reestablished as a nine-member Planning Board, with four alternate members.

The membership of the Planning Board shall be as is set forth in N.J.S.A. 40:55D-23 and 40:55D-23.1.

The Mayor or the Manager, in accordance with New Jersey statutes, shall be the Class I member.

The Council position, Class III, shall be appointed by the City Council.

Vacancies in the office of Planning Board member or alternate shall be filled in the manner of original appointment and only for the unexpired term.

The Secretary of the Planning Board shall serve as the administrative officer in charge of the receipt and processing of applications and shall perform such duties as are assigned by the Chairperson of the Planning Board. Vacancies in the office of Planning Board Secretary shall be filled by the Manager.
