Schedule of Minimum Charges and Rates for Excess Water Use
The Tax Collector’s Duties include the following four broad categories: billing, cashiering, reports and enforcement. As Tax Collector, Dana also holds the dual title of Utility Collector and is thus charged with the duty of billing and collecting both sewer service and water charges.

Estimated 3rd quarter tax bill is mailed in June. Final tax bills are mailed in August after the new rate is received.
July water billing includes any excess over 80,000 gallons per year.

The validity of any tax or assessment, or the time at which it shall be payable, shall not be affected by failure of a taxpayer to receive a Tax bill, but every taxpayer is put on notice to ascertain from the proper official of the taxing district the amount which is due for taxes or assessments against him or his property.
